Mum-Kini
Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on the Mum-Kini website. A cookie is a small file stored by your browser; other technologies may also store or access information on your device.
Your choice lasts 30 days
On your first visit, you can accept or reject optional cookies and signup services. We store that choice for 30 days on this browser. We ask again when it expires, when you clear cookies, or when this consent policy changes. The 30-day period applies to our preference cookie, not every third-party cookie or business record.
What this website uses
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mumkini_cookie_choice | Essential: remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional Kit signup services, the policy version, and the time of your choice. It does not contain your name or email. | 30 days |
Accessibility preferences in browser storage
When you use the accessibility tools, mumkini_accessibility_v1 in localStorage remembers your requested display preferences. This functional storage contains settings only, not your name or email. The widget does not send it to Mum-Kini. It remains until you select Reset Preferences or clear browser storage; it is not subject to the 30-day cookie-choice expiration. See our Accessibility Statement.
Optional signup services
The embedded newsletter form is provided by Kit. It is not loaded until you accept optional services. When enabled, Kit and any form-security services it uses may receive technical information such as your IP address and may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Their names and lifetimes are controlled by those providers, not Mum-Kini.
Accepting cookies does not subscribe you to email. You must separately enter your first name and email and submit the signup form. If you reject optional services and need help with the free resource, contact us.
Other external services
The current static site has no added advertising pixel or analytics script. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, and blog articles and images are requested from our WordPress blog service. Those requests transmit technical connection information. Purchase links and social links open external sites, which have their own cookie policies. Your Mum-Kini choice does not set preferences on Kit checkout or social platforms.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use Cookie Settings in the footer or the button above. Rejecting after accepting reloads this page and stops the embedded signup service from loading again. It does not unsubscribe you from email or delete cookies already stored by another provider. You can remove existing cookies through your browser settings; blocking all cookies may prevent your preference from being remembered.
